Development and implementation of a “mini” production system, development and implementation of a QM system based on DIN EN ISO 9001:2015
Initial spark of the cooperation between confid logistics and QFU was the request of a potential customer of confid logistics for a production system.
Based on QFU’s method and toolbox for production systems / lean management / Toyota production system, a package of modules was jointly put together for confid logistics as a small company (mini production system for SMEs). The company-specific development of the production system for the logistics service provider was carried out in combined workshop trainings with highly motivated employees, who were involved from the beginning. This approach made the sustainable implementation of the mini production system a smoothly flowing process.
The result: the potential customer provided confid logistics with a contract. The employees were qualified to maintain the production system not only at the original location with success. They are able to transfer this to other or new locations at any time. What’s more, their daily work becomes much more efficient.
The “new” production system was the ideal basis to quickly and successfully introduce and certify a QM system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 at confid logistics with the support / accompaniment of QFU.
